Q: What is the minimum order amount?

A: We’re committed to making stock springs accessible and affordable, even in small quantities. You can mix and match different types or part numbers without restriction—perfect for prototyping, testing, or small-scale needs. Please note that while there is no minimum order required, a small handling fee applies to purchases under $25 USD. This allows us to continue offering low-cost retail springs while maintaining availability and service quality.

Q: Do you ship to Canada/Mexico/Europe/etc.?

A: Yes, we do. Our site is modified to take international orders but if you do not find your specific country you may place the order over the phone and we will let you know if we are able to ship it to you. The information required to place the order over the phone is the following:

  • Customer name, email and/or phone number.
  • Part number of springs you’re interested in ordering (Ex. PC025-200-8.000-MW-0.500-N-IN)
  • Quantity you’re intesrested in ordering
  • Shipping Address
  • The freight company of your preference (Ex. DHL, USPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • Credit Card Information

Note: The countries we do not ship to are:

  • Cuba
  • Laos
  • North Korea
  • Vietnam

Q: Do you guys offer samples? / Can I buy one spring only?

A: Because buying stock springs at small quantities is already a much more affordable alternative to custom manufacturing, we do not offer free samples. A handling fee applies to orders under $25 USD.

Q: My company is tax exempt, how do we go about the order?

A: The Spring Store is located in California, therefore, we only tax customers in California. If you’ve already placed the order online and have already been charged for tax, you may send us a copy of the resale certificate which dictates your company is not to be charged tax and we will provide you with a credit for the taxed amount.

If you haven’t yet placed the order because you are tax exempt, you may send us an official Purchase Order along with the copy of the resale certificate and give us your credit card information over the phone to complete the order. Another option is to send us the resale certificate and place the order over the phone with shipping address and credit card ready.

Q: How do I select 2nd day shipping or next day air?

A: Our website only allows for ground or three day shipping. If you’d like for a quicker shipping method, you may place the order over the phone. Our orders ship the next day from the day when you place the order. Therefore, if you place an order today, it might be shipping out the next day depending on the time of day. If time is of the utmost essence make sure to ask when you place the order over the phone.

Q: What are the lead times of custom springs?

A: The manufacturing lead times on our custom springs vary between 2 to 4 weeks depending on how much work has come in.

Q: Can I get my custom springs faster than the lead time I was given.

A: Yes, we have expedites which will allow us to manufacture your springs faster at an additional cost. It can be either 2 weeks or 1 week depending on how busy our lead times are at that given moment.

Q: Do you have springs for a certain firearm or car model? (Any specific object in general)

A: Keep in mind that we are spring manufacturers. We might have customers which manufacture certain products but we aren’t aware of where our springs are going most of the time. In order for us to manufacture or find the spring for your device in stock, we’ll need to know your spring’s dimensions.

Note: The largest and smallest manufacturing tolerances we manage are the following:

  • Largest Wire Diameter: 1.250”
  • Smallest Wire Diameter: 0.008” 
  • Largest Outer Diameter:15" (we may do larger on special requests)
  • Smallest Outer Diameter: 0.050”
  • Material types: Music Wire ASTM A228, Hard Drawn ASTM A227, Stainless Steel 302 A313, Stainless Steel 17-7 A313, Stainless Steel 316 A316, Chrome Silicon A401, and Elgiloy (Call to investigate wire sizes).
