Coil Springs Catalog

Our coil spring catalog includes over 31,000 stock compression springs and nearly 400 stock conical/tapered springs. You can easily find what you need using our Spring Finder (stock spring search engine tool).

These numbers can be quite intimidating when you think that you need to find only one amongst 31,000 coil springs in our catalog. Our tech experts bring you Spring Finder; a search engine tool that allows you to find the ideal springs very easily. We can’t know what you want unless you tell us though. The more information you have on the spring you need, the easier and faster it will be to find the best-fitting spring for your application.

The standard springs in our coil springs catalog range in size, material type, and force. The diameter and free length of your spring will determine its size and whether it will fit within your application. The spring rate determines your coil spring’s force in pounds per inches (or newtons per millimeter). These specifications are all you need in order to find the ideal spring. However, if you don’t have spring rate there are several others parameters which you can enter into our advanced search.

To be able to input more dimensions in the Spring Finder’s tool you need to access the advanced search. To do so, select the bubble next to “Search More Terms”. Here you can enter the amount of travel you need out of your spring and the amount of force you’ll be placing on it. You can also enter other physical parameters such as: total coils, wire diameter, solid height, or inner diameter if your spring is going over a shaft.

In our compression coil springs catalog, you will find springs made of several material types such as: Music Wire ASTM A228, Hard Drawn ASTM A227, Stainless Steel 302 ASTM A313, and many more. These material types serve different purposes and some are more extravagant than others.

Let's say you found the perfect stainless steel spring. If it isn’t being placed in a corrosive environment you can try to find the same option in music wire material. This would give you a more economic alternative. If, however, you do require humidity protection or high temperature resistance, then stick to the stainless steel spring.
